There’s so much I have to share. It seems endless, like I can never catch up with myself. If you read my book, you know when I was about eight years old I shared my consciousness, my soul in front of my third-grade class. Shut down, I vowed to never share again, and then something happened… I learned the powerless power of being vulnerable, of putting myself out there, sharing my story, and realizing that for every critic (and there will always be one) there was at least a dozen people nodding in understanding. Not only was I sharing my story, I was opening up the door for others to share too. And in my vulnerability, there was also courage, and the two were one and the same. Vulnerability and courage and the willingness to accept ‘failure’ or ‘criticism’ as part of the journey is not only something that supported my outward projection and interaction, it also so necessary for the experience of realization. Most humans live their lives dictated by mind-based narratives they tell themselves. The spectrum of stories is wide and overlapping. I’m not good enough is also matched by I have nothing new to learn; I have this all figured out. In some ways, self-realization is daring to have the courage and vulnerability to be completely real and honest with yourself. Not from a mind narrative perspective but in deep communion with your soul. Further, it requires – as I have called it – walking through the valley of alone. Some here are just starting to make the voyage across death valley, others are in the middle of it, and some like me made it to the other side. What feels like pure torture and also beyond necessary for the self-realization experience, in the end (with the conscious perspective of hindsight) is a graceful stripping of all you thought to be true about yourself, so that you can come to know – who you truly are. In the last months, I have moved from making it through the valley of alone, into the dry desert of Self, and only recently has that dry desert turned into a lush forest in a bottomless ocean of NewSelf. Yet I remember what it is like to walk the valley of death and alone, which is why I created my Patreon page and a Facebook group. Sometimes you need to come up for air and connect with like-consciousness beings. You are invited to join. In previous times, self-realization was chosen by so few, that it was near impossible to find a peer in consciousness. Those days are over, and I like to sense myself as a connector of sorts. Speaking of the NewSelf, I have been in deep communion of understanding the NewSelf, and New Life, that is a new form of realization available to all of us. Embodiment. Something many of you are choosing. I have also come across in my ‘research’ others having more of a typically Eastern form of realization or enlightenment in which they reach a NoSelf experience. I will write more about that, for I have experienced both in such a way that I can now move back and forth into the facets of realization. Yet, I will note, before I reached NewSelf in New Life, I found I had to sit for a while in the NoSelf, which for me was the most extremely scary experience – that is, until it wasn’t. NoSelf was and is a fully identity-free state of being, with only an understanding of now. I had no human persona. It was like I stripped it off for good. Then one day when I saw the opening for New Life, I took it. And in choosing this experience, I found I put my human costume back on, the look of New Life (USARA) – also covered in my new book. The NoSelf was still there in a facet or layer of Self, yet this NewSelf was my way of operating and interacting in the world – both entirely human and not human simultaneously (transhuman perhaps is a solid word here). FEATURED WRITERS OF THE MONTHI introduced the idea of a featured writer section some months ago. I like to highlight writers who are not channeling dis-embodied beings but rather experiencing realization and/ or conscious living as embodied beings and sharing that direct experience. There is no one size fits all version of self-realization and I cherish diversity of consciousness. The fun part is I require getting on the phone or video chat with the writers before I share, so I have the added bonus of a very interesting conversation. Housekeeping...All of the May calls are completely full. I will announce the next ones at the beginning of June. I will be offline May 11-18 and May 24 - June 4 for surf vacations, or at least I am expecting to be without Wifi or cell service for those times.  SPRING HAS SPRUNG - WELL, KIND OF...Hello friends, Happy spring to you all! Here on Mustang Island we experienced spring, summer and our third winter all in in one day! It went from a dewy, butterfly-filled morning, to searing heat with no wind, and then by evening a huge black storm cloud appeared dumping buckets of rain and howling winds that shook my house all night long and temperatures dropped to freezing. Such seems to be the ways things go in the world we live; the weather serving as a direct reflection of all the changes and splits occurring on our beloved Earth creation. Despite the ever-changing landscape, I have found a steady place within myself like I have never experienced before. Clarity is a constant and the days of the back and forth from expansion to constriction have ended for me. A true celebration! The seeds of New Life have been planted within my being-ness, and I am tending to the sprouts breaking through the ground in the garden of Self. I am pleased to announce my latest book, Becoming Sar’h: A Modern Self-Realization Story, is now available for purchase on amazon.com and globally. The paperback book is $14.99 USD and with purchase you can also download the kindle version for free. The kindle version is $9.99 USD. Having read it again over the weekend, the book reads easy and flows, but there are a few commas out of place, yet my knowingness is to simply move forward on its release. Any and all future updates will go out, automatically updating in your e-reader device.
