Hello, friends!

I hope you all are enjoying summer - or for those on the other side of the globe, winter. 

Softness is a quality with many definitions but I wanted to highlight two of them. 

The first is being easy to mold or fold. 

​For example, I folded into the warm blanket of surrender, which is what someone actually said so beautifully on one of our Banyan Tree calls in June.

That blanket holds the quality of softness.

One could say Trust has a soft quality, a firmness with no sharp edges. 

The second quality is a subtle effect, in other words something lacking sharp definition.

Instead of something being clearly defined by duality - such as right and wrong - the backing away from the need to perceive creates a different kind of clarity.  

Perception of self or a situation is a hard focus; while allowing the edges of our focus to soften, is truly when we begin to give way for pure, unfiltered awareness. 

​Awareness lives beyond the land of opposites, beyond sharp edges of what is right/ wrong, supportive, not supportive and on. 

Awareness is the space in we can feel and be God.

1) ARTICLE: The Disruptive Nature of the Christ Consciousness

I began writing about this softness we are speaking of on May 17th. The article generated so much feedback, understanding and readers, that I felt we could all really dive into it alone together. This would be a 'Jesus' article and Yogananda helped me write it. 

2) VIDEO: INTRODUCTION

I posted a video on May 19th - announcing the Series. You can find it HERE. 

This video was to show how anyone - myself included - can be so tempted to go back into duality and identity perspectives and the brutal world of relativity reality's suffering in the duality of cause and effect.

And really show without telling how being LIGHT can only be found in the backing away from the need to perceive yourself or situations in one fixed, hard way.

We allow our perspectives to be come hazy so that the clarity of pure awareness becomes our screen in which to operate and create. Creation cannot happen through perspective of identities for the identity is the film that creates the perceived separation. Backing away from the need to perceive. 

3) ARTICLE: Kuthumi on Allowing Concrete Identity to Crumble 

On May 27th, I posted a channel transcript of a parable from Kuthumi. In this article, he talks about how people put their identity back together like a crumbling concrete house, when the cottage in the strawberry field was just down the street. It reminds me of the Rumi poem: 

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase ‘each other’
doesn’t make any sense.

4) ARTICLE: Dropping Your Last Sword

On May 30th, I posted the Sar'h share on "Dropping Your Last Sword." It's not just talking about this lifetimes, but she is saying ALL identities from ALL lifetimes must ALL drop their swords. This is happening naturally as we back away from the need to perceive ourselves and our realities as singular and defined. 

5) ARTICLE: Case of the Mistaken I 

On June 6th, we posed the Inquiry Questions:
Who is it that is walking easy on the Earth? 
Who and what is softening? 
Which 'I' are we talking about? 

6) VIDEO: Man Shall on Live on Bread Alone

In this June 14th video, I talk about how Jesus comes out of the desert after 40 days and 40 nights. I relate it to coming out of the cocoon and being in the world after you have gone so deep into your internal and external world that the division between the two ceases to exist in your 'perceptions'

Today, I want to leave you with a poem made popular by Mother Teresa but originally written by Dr. Kieth Kent. She added the last line and I am going to add another line anyway. 

DO IT ANYWAY

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

AND SHE ADDS:
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. 
It was never between you and them anyway.

AND I ADD:
In your unfiltered luminosity, it is between you and YOU.
There were never any other people anyway. 

"The human" is really truly all of humanity when we lift the divider of identity from our experience and expressions. 

You see one cannot allow all the concepts we discuss here - and the end of suffering will never occur - until perspectives become awareness and you become God. A God containing all of humanity. 

Softening is one of many passageways to further.
